Starlink promised to provide high-speed internet in a wide area in the seas and oceans in the first quarter of 2023. If anyone provides internet from starlink to their vessel, can they share their experiences?

NYK Line (Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha) has started their trial use of Starlink in December of 2022, to improve their ship to ship communication. You can find the press release here:

I know 2 companies have tried starlink on ships -

Also heard that for now - this is more likely to be effective closer to shore than in the middle of the ocean.
