I would like to keep an eye on the fleet / vessels of my customers, especially key accounts. When a vessel of my customer comes to my port or country, I would like to know ahead of time - so I can reach out to them proactively. This can improve our customer service. Also, I would like to know if they are visiting our ports but have decided to work with another vendor. What is the best way to keep an eye on the fleet / vessels of my customers and know when they come to my ports?
If you want to provide better / tailored service for your customers – you should keep an eye on their fleet and proactively reach out whenever they are coming to your ports. In MagicPort maritime intelligence - https://intelligence.magicport.ai – select fleets, then create a fleet on top right corner.
Once you name the fleet you want to create, you have the option to add vessels either by uploading an excel file with IMO numbers (put IMO on top first cell and list all IMOs under that “IMO” cell) or by typing the name of the owner / manager you want to track. Once you select the owner – the software will automatically pull all the vessels owned or managed by this company. You will be able to see the vessels wherever they are in the world on a map. You can also set smart alerts to stay on top.
Click create alert – to get notifications when any of the vessels in this fleet – are
- Coming to your port
- Arrived in your port
- Changes its destination or
- ETA
You will get email notification on these events.
